For a Photojournalism assignment, Karly Johnson shot portraits of Brad Huslig and asked him a few questions. Check back for more “Getting to know” features in the future. 

Q: What is your favorite movie and why? My favorite movie is Step Brothers. It is a funny movie and has Will Ferrell.

Q: Have you ever had a job and if so what was it? My job is a lifeguard at the YMCA. I like to save lives.

Q: Describe your family? I have four brothers and sister. One of them is in college, two of them are the same age as me and a little sister who is seven.

Q: Where do you want to go to college and why? I want go to KU. Because I grew up liking the school.

Q: What do you like to do in your spare time and why? I like to watch Netflix, nap, and eat. I also like to play sports.

Q: What is your favorite season and why? My favorite season is summer. Because we don’t have school and I get to hang out with my friends more.

Q: What is your favorite holiday and why? My favorite holiday is Christmas. The reason why is because you get to see your family and get presents.

Q: What is your favorite food and why? My favorite food is a cheeseburger. It never fails to brighten your day.

Q: What is your favorite animal and why? My favorite animal is a cheetah. Because I aspire to be that fast.

Q: What is your dream job and why? My dream job is a sport commentator. Because I make a lot of money.
