Rica Bluml
Hello! My name is Rica Bluml and I’m a senior. This is my third year being on the Flyer staff and I’m one of the editors this year! My favorite things to do on staff are writing and designing pages, but I’m excited to take on more responsibilities this year. Outside of the Flyer, I’m a peer minister, student ambassador, house captain and I play tennis. In my free time I like scrapbooking the pictures I take on my digital camera and doing my own nails. After Carroll, I see myself going to K-State and being a part of the Collegian Media Group, which is their newspaper. I’m so excited for this year and I know the 2025-2026 Flyer will be great; God bless!
Gabby Martin
Hi! My name is Gabby Martin and I’m a senior this year. This is my third year being on Flyer, and I’m a co-editor with Rica Bluml. A little about me is that I’m a house captain, I have three dogs, and I like reading. I’m looking forward to this year and I’m so excited to finish out my years at Bishop Carroll being part of this amazing staff and using my skills to put out a quality paper for you guys!

Caleb Andrews
Hi, I’m Caleb! I am a junior here at Carroll and this is my first year on The Flyer team. Some of my hobbies are photography, watching movies, reading, hiking, and collecting vinyl. In college I want to study photography and filmmaking, while majoring in architecture and urban planning. I am very active in school clubs, attending game club and dead poets’ society every week. I also am a part of the BCCHS choir and active in the theater program.
Olivia Berger
Hi, my name is Olivia Berger. I am a junior and am excited to be a part of Bishop Carroll’s Flyer staff this year! I am also involved in the Handmaids of Mary as well as the bowling team. My hobbies include reading (I highly recommend the Lord of the Rings), drawing, listening to music, and co-writing my childhood novel with my best friend! I hope you all can enjoy the stories brought to light in the Flyer this year!
Parker Bluml
I am Parker Bluml, and I am a writer on the Bishop Carroll Flyer. I am a varsity track hurdler, a member of Carroll´s concert choir, and I am the sophomore leader of my house. I genuinely love most sports and enjoy being able to talk about them with people. I also I am a big fan of music, and I listen to a lot of different genres. I used to do as many sports at Carroll as I could but then I got burnt out so I just do track now.
Christina Dinh
Hi!! My name is Christina Dinh. I’m a Junior and this is my first year on the Flyer! I love reading and writing, both fiction and journalism. I love watching movies as well: my favorites are All About Lily Chou-Chou and Linda Linda Linda! The best book ever written is Omniscient Reader’s Viewpoint. I like birds and literary magazines. Please read the Flyer well and have a great year!
Bridget Gear
Hey there! My name is Bridget Gear, and I am a junior! This will be my second year on Flyer Staff, and I am ecstatic to continue to put my writing skills to use for Bishop Carroll. At Carroll I am involved in Cross Country, Student Ambassadors, House Captain, Lector, and Eagles for Life. When I’m not doing something school related, I love to hang out with my friends, spend time with my family, travel, play piano, bake, play board games, and watch movies/shows. My favorite movie is Top Gun because who doesn’t love young and good-looking Tom Cruise?!?! I am energetic, cheerful, funny (I think), and faith filled. If you catch me in the hallways, you will probably see me laughing loudly with my friends or speaking in a really high pitch tone which I am known to do when I am in shock or get excited. Alright, that’s all! Have a great year Eagles!!
Isaac Gorges
Hello. My name is Isaac Gorges and I am a sophomore here at Carroll. This is my first year on the flyer. I am glad to be a part of the flyer as well as help with the flyer’s videos and photos. In my free time I enjoy outdoor activities such as hunting and hiking. As well as listening to country music and playing some video games. I love all things videos, and I am involved with a local film program.
Tien Le
My name is Tien Le, and this is my second year on the Flyer team. As a part of the newspaper staff, I write and design pages for intriguing stories dedicated to entertaining the students here at BC! In my free time, I enjoy simple hobbies like art and baking, and I like trying new things. My favorite book is The Modern Prometheus, otherwise known as Frankenstein by Mary Shelly, and I’m planning on pursuing a career in neuropsychology. I’m looking forward to creating more stories this year, and I hope that you guys are excited to read them!
Gianna Leonard
Hi! I’m Gianna Leonard. I’m a senior and this is my first year on flyer, but I am so excited to help out this year! Most of my free time is spent with my friends. I have a lot of hobbies that I’m decent at, and my favorite pass time is starting projects and never finishing them. I play guitar and bass, and music is one of my main interests. I love watching new shows and movies, so I’m always looking for new recommendations. My favorite movie is Juno and My favorite animal is an Ant Eater. I love my family, I have 4 brothers, 1 sister, and 2 nieces. I’m excited to see how this year will go and I’m even more excited to graduate. I hope you guys enjoy our work this year!
Rachel Lipinski
Hi, my name is Rachel Lipinski! I am a sophomore this year and this is my first year on Flyer and I’m so excited to bring you news about Carroll. I’m a football manager, wrestler, swimmer, in Eagles for Life club, teach PSR with Jamie, student ambassador, and part of the liturgy club. I like to stay busy but in my free time I like to hang out with friends, read, and tan. I’m the youngest of ten kids but I am the funniest of all of them. I can’t wait to be on the Flyer staff this year and bring you the best stories possible!

Hey y’all, my name is Jamie Lubbe and I’m a junior. This is my first year on the Flyer. I’m so excited to be on it because I want to show you all the photos that I have in store for you. I am the head football manager this year, Eagles for life, part of the ambassador team, and a PSR teacher with Rachel. 😊 That’s basically it so I hope you enjoy the flyer this year and the years to come.
Jose Manrriquez
Hey! My name is Jose, I’m a sophomore this year. This is my first time in Flyer and I am beyond excited to be with these amazing people. I want to focus on designing the Flyer this year! A little about my life I like tennis, drawing, making posters, and learning history. In my free time I watch YouTube and Roblox A LOT. My music taste is a mix between pop, r &b, alternative rock, bossa-nova, country, jazz, indie, and soul. I’m a very talkative person and probably wont stop talking if you make a conversation. My future job is being a graphic designer/photographer for brands and celebrity’s. I also like collecting vinyl’s and cd’s. Now that you know somewhat about me I hope you like my work this year.
