Week 9: Ark City Bulldogs

It’s playoffs time. You have to be at your best every game. In last week’s game the offense lost two players to injures. Coach Trail told us that this is just another opportunity for guys to step up. This causes us to have a next man up philosophy. In the first round of playoffs we will be facing Ark City.  In practice we have been running a lot against the scout team. This is going to help both offense and defense to know what to expect from Ark City. Both sides of the ball are also putting time in the film room. We watch film on ourselves to help us see the plays as a whole and to break them down so we know exactly what to do. We also have been watching film on Ark City which helps us to anticipate what they will do both offensively and defensively. The game Friday night is a home game so make sure to come out and support your Golden Eagles as we look to survive and advance.
