This Year’s Yearbook Theme is…

The theme for Bishop Carroll’s yearbook is “To Be 17 Again.”

The yearbook advisor, Tracey Fox, said the theme is an important part of any yearbook. Seniors on the staff chose “To Be 17 Again.” The cover is of a big 17 with cool design elements added.

“The year is 2017, and there’s that old cliché ‘Oh, to be 17 Again,’ so we thought it would be a fun theme,” said Mrs. Tracey Fox, the yearbook adviser.

“I like (the theme) because it makes me think of the movie “17 Again,’” junior staff member Grace Neville said. “That movie is about going back and remembering what high school was like and when a senior, or whoever, looks at our book, they’ll be looking back too.”

The predicted strength of the yearbook is the quality of pictures, Fox said. “The photography so far is fantastic, so I think the kids will really enjoy the book because of that,” she said.

Neville, who has taken a few pictures for the yearbook, said the yearbook staff’s diversity of personalities has led to the strong images.

“We have so many different people coming together, contributing lots of ideas, and that’s how you get unique pictures,” said Neville.

The yearbook will feature chronological coverage this year, Fox said. Sydney Dahlgren is editor.
