Mysteries Solved: Ella Thom and I wrote on the many mysteries at BC. We had to do many interviews with staff at Carroll, take pictures of these mysteries, and do wild activities such as climb up on the roof of the AC. Some of the mysteries Ella and I investigated were the pool in the cave, how old Mr. Blanton is, what the figure on the roof of the AC is, and if Mr. Nance and Mrs. Harshberger dated when they went to high school. Not So New Relics: Many students knew we had one relic in our chapel originally and were surprised to see so many more amongst all the other changes because of the remodeling done this summer. But why did we get them, and if they are not new, where have they been? In my story, I share some of the intriguing information Fr. Ed shared with me about our chapel and the relics it contains. Hi Ho, Hi Ho: This story is filled with tips, tricks, and funny stories from working as a teenager. Even tips to get your first job from people that have jobs can be found! “Off to Work They Go” does a deep dive on how students manage their time when they have school, extracurriculars, and a job. Sports! Check out a story Dustin Stephenson, the top cross-country runner at Bishop Carroll. He has battled injuries and sickness, and even had to step away from running at one point in high school. It hasn’t been an easy path to the top for Stephenson. A side column is also present on the page.
