Two City League volleyball titans face off on Tuesday when defending champion Northwest meets Bishop Carroll at 7 p.m. in the Activities Complex.

BC students are encouraged to attend and dress to a Pink-Out theme, as planned by the Community Leadership Team.

Last year, Northwest was as close as you could be to undefeated with a record of 39-1. Bishop Carroll’s record last season was a solid 26-14 but the Eagles suffered their only City League loss last year to Northwest.

This year, both teams are ranked and off to 2-0 starts. BC played its best volleyball early against East and then handled South easily last week.

“I thought we showed exciting flashes of the team we are capable of being,” coach Tammy Long said. “We need to be more consistent. Northwest has a lot of talent but so do we. We’re looking forward to the challenge.”
