This Week in Sports: Signings, Signings and more Signings

Dillon Malone, Sports Editor

Hello sports fans, this week has been an eventful one to say the least, as a total of eight senior athletes signed their national letters of intent this week. Leading off on Monday, Austin Mernagh signed to Benedictine College as a track and field athlete. On Tuesday, your sports writer signed to bowl for Hastings College. Then on Wednesday, Hanleigh Allen signed to play soccer for Texas A&M-Corpus Christi while her teammate, Maguire Sullivan, signed to play for Kansas State. Speaking of K-State, wide receiver Tom Helten signed to be a preferred walk-on for Bill Snyder’s program on Wednesday; along with Braden Howell (Missouri Western State), Riggs Robben (Butler Community College), and Zach Roth (Tabor College). Congratulations to all the athletes who signed this week and for all of our college-bound student athletes!
