The boys’ soccer team is playing in the Final Four at state yet again.

Bishop Carroll will play St. Thomas from Kanas City on Friday at Maize, and the winner advances to the state championship at 2 p.m. on Saturday at Maize.

In the past four years, the team has reached the Class 5A Final Four a three times, earning one fourth place and one third place.

“We’re experienced and know how to play in the final four. No one will be happy to just make it there,” BC soccer coach Mike Skaggs said.

The BC team recently won the City League title and is currently on a 13 winning streak, but the St. Thomas team may change that. The KC area generally has a lot of good soccer players and this team will probably be the most difficult to beat out of all the other teams played this year.

Goalie Braeden Huslig said, “I think it will be a really fun game to watch. All those KC teams are really good, and so are we.”
