Come out tonight, as this could be the senior’s final game at home

Abigail Hausfeld: “Bishop Carroll is the west Wichita Catholic High School and Kapaun is the east Wichita Catholic High School. They have a rivalry that is friendly and even if one is better at sports than the other, that does not keep students from either school stop befriending the other school’s students. Overall, the rivalry is a friendly competition of sorts that no matter the outcome always ends in smiles and laughs.”

Olivia Martinez: “Kapaun and Carroll are always competitive no matter what the competition is. Whether it be sports or academics, KMC and BC always want to be the better school. There’s no greater atmosphere than a KMC/BC sports event or even academic event. ”

Lorenzo Barles: “The BC/Kapaun rivalry is so intense because of the history between the two schools. Kapaun hasn’t beat us in 20 years in football. The “Holy War” is always something to look forward to between the schools. Prediction: BC 42-30

Jenna Welsby: This is such a great rivalry because we are the only Catholic schools in Wichita. We have a special bond that we don’t have with any other school. The score will be 41-35 BC.

Rachel Fayette: “I think the Bishop Carroll and Kapaun rivalry is interesting. It has always been a big deal to students and BC fans. They are always very competitive and have a great game. We just want BC to win and we will go all out in the student section throwing things in the air. I think the BC team will beat Kapaun in the football game this week.”

Conner Betts: “The rivalry is really about which school is better as a whole. Bishop Carroll is better than them at all Sports. Carroll is also a community of strong, faithful, and good hearted people that strive to become more holy in their daily lives. My prediction for the score is 49-34, Bishop Carroll wins.”
