NW vs. BC
September 8, 2016
LAST WEEK: Northwest 61, BC 49
KEY STAT: Adam Theis accounted for 195 total yards, three touchdowns and one touchdown pass.
KEY PLAY: With BC seemingly in control, Grizzly Luke Carter made a tackle for loss on an Eagles fourth-down try; over the next 20 minutes, NW would go from down 35-21 to leading 54-35 at the start of the fourth quarter.
SCHUCKMAN SAYS: “Our biggest struggle against Northwest was our youth, they exploited it. I’m proud that we didn’t quit. We have to work on lining up correctly and playing as a unit.”
NEXT WEEK: Salina South (0-1) at BC (0-1)
SCHUCKMAN SAYS: They play “power football” meaning they are a big physical team and run oriented. We are pretty similar. We both lost a lot of starters this year and are starting over. It’s inevitable, somebody is going 0-2 after this game which is rare for both.”
