You can totally go to Prom without a date as long as you are a Junior or Senior. It may even just be more fun to dress up and go with friends.

Prom is supposed to be about going with a guy/girl. When my mom went to school, you didn’t go to Prom unless you were going out with someone. However, I do agree that it would be more fun to go with friends rather than going with a “stranger.” Suggest to your friends going as a group or all of you could go with a guy/girl friend. But whoever you go with, just have fun!

Why don’t more people attend prom in groups of all guys or all girls? It would be a lot more fun than attending with someone you’ve never gone out with. Any idea’s on how to convince friends to go with your group?

Experiment with whether you study or do written homework better earlier or later after school. Also, if you enjoy a certain T.V. show allow yourself to watch it as long as you finish your work first. Set goals and rewards for yourself. Keep yourself energized- drink water, have an occational snack, and walk around if you feel that you are losing focus on your work. Good luck!

~Stewards is a good class where you learn a lot about bringing others to Christ and how to improve your prayer life. No homework and it includes group teaching at weekly PSR classes, which takes care of your stewardship hours.
~Personal Finance is a fun and laid back class with a minimum amount of homework. Also, the information will help you throughout your life.
~Journalism and PhotoJ are fun loving informational classes with little homework. You will improve your writing and photography skills and can become part of the Flyer or Yearbook Staff.
~You can also talk to your counselor about your opitions.

Make a list of pros and cons of each guy. List different attributes and how comfortable you feel around that person. Also ask yourself if this relationship will affect your friendship if dating does not work out. You might also consider their faith life and how well they respect you. Keep your standards high!
