Welcome to the Flyer online, which will serve as a companion and supplement to the school newspaper. The staff’s goal is to use the online site to prove the Bishop Carroll community with additional news, features, sports, opinion and multimedia presentations. When big events happen, we hope to be there.
The Flyer staff consists of 26 students. They will be working hard this year to provide coverage of BC, and also uphold the school’s strong tradition in journalism. BC journalism has won three state championships in the past five years, and last year the Flyer maintained its status as one of the top newspapers in Kansas by earning an All-Kansas honor from the Kansas Scholastic Press Association.
